Another new restaurant is apparently coming to Allston. According to EveryBlock Boston, a business license was issued to the Allston Union Cafe earlier this week. The exact address is uncertain at this time, but it appears that this restaurant and cafe will be opening on Harvard Avenue in the heart of Allston, somewhere in the block where Grecian Yearning used to exist before a fire destroyed the family-owned Greek restaurant in early June of 2008.
We will try to find out more information on the Allston Union Cafe over the coming weeks, so keep checking back...
[OCTOBER 1 UPDATE: Union Cafe is now open. A poster on the Chowhound site mentioned that it features all all-day breakfast dishes and has rotisserie chicken on its lunch menu.
