Skyline Restaurant Apparently Closes at Marina Bay in Quincy

A restaurant in Quincy known in part for its outdoor dining and water views looks like it has closed its doors. According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Skyline Restaurant at Marina Bay shut down about a week ago, and a check on the restaurant over the weekend confirmed that it is indeed locked up and dark inside. One of a number of restaurants and bars in this harborside development in the northern section of Quincy, Skyline Restaurant has featured a mix of seafood and traditional American fare for a number of years. The casual dining spot has been an especially popular place in the summer, with its outdoor deck overlooking the water.

At the present time, it is not known what might go into the Skyline spot; as soon as we find out, we will post an update on the site. [December 7 Update: According to an article in the Patriot Ledger, it appears that a new restaurant will open in the Skyline spot possibly by January of 2010, with renovations made to the space.]
