Edgewater Cafe in Salem to Close This Weekend
A Mexican restaurant and entertainment spot in Salem will be closing this weekend. According to the Salem News, the Edgewater Cafe will close its doors on October 31 after being in business for eight years. The article states that the Washington Street restaurant is closing due to financial reasons.
The Edgewater Cafe, which also had a location in the Magnolia section of Gloucester, has featured a variety of live music over the years. The menu at the Edgewater Cafe has included all kinds of traditional Mexican and Mexican-American dishes, including chili Colorado, carne asada, pulled pork burritos, and chicken chimichangas.
