Catch to Move Out of Winchester; Parson's Table to Replace It

A critically-acclaimed seafood restaurant will soon be moving out of Winchester and will be replaced with a comfort food place run by the same owners. According to the Boston Globe and Grub Street Boston, Catch will serve its last meal on Church Street in the center of town on Valentine's Day weekend, with Parson's Table looking to open in the same spot sometime toward the end of February. Catch will re-open at some point in the future, possibly in Boston or Cambridge, according to both sources.

[March 3 update: According to both Grub Street Boston and the restaurant's website, Parson's Table is now open.]

The menu at Parson's Table will feature inventive American comfort food dishes, including a warm frisee salad, polenta, grilled flatbread, macaroni and cheese with Niman Ranch ham, pork rillette, rainbow trout, hand-cut fettucini, chicken with brown butter risotto, and steak frites. Prices for entrees look to range from $12 to $22, based on the Parson's Table menu within the Catch website.

The address for Parson's Table is: Parson's Table, 34 Church Street, Winchester, MA, 01890. The restaurant's website can be found at: http://catchrestaurant.com/parsonstable/
