Naked Fish Closes in Billerica, Framingham

A small local chain of seafood restaurants that used to have several locations in the Boston area is apparently down to just one, as its restaurants in Billerica and Framingham have closed.

According to the restaurant's website, Naked Fish now has one remaining location open--on Totten Pond Road in Waltham--indicating that their dining spots on the Middlesex Turnpike in Billerica and Route 30 in Framingham are no longer in operation. A call placed to the Billerica location showed that their phone is now out of service, while a search online resulted in several sources mentioning that the Framingham location has indeed shut down.

Several years back, Naked Fish had locations in Billerica, Boston, Framingham, Hingham, Lynnfield, Quincy, Waltham, Watertown, and Westborough.

We do not yet know what might go into the space in Billerica where Naked Fish was, but a poster on the Chowhound site mentions that the Mexican restaurant chain Margaritas is planning on opening in the Framingham spot.
