Pavia Italian Cuisine and Catering Opening in Boston's Financial District

A new restaurant looks to be opening in the Financial District of Boston, moving into the space where a breakfast and lunch spot recently closed.

According to the EveryBlock Boston site, Pavia Italian Cuisine and Catering is going to open on Water Street where the Olde Boston Cafe used to be until shutting down last month. An earlier post on the Chowhound site indicates that Pavia will be an Italian restaurant (which makes sense, as Pavia is the name of a town in Northern Italy, just south of Milan).

The Olde Boston Cafe had been in business in this space for less than half a year, with a location of the Boloco chain being in this spot before the Olde Boston Cafe.

[November 15 update: According to Boston.com, Pavia is now open. The menu at the restaurant's website shows such items as salads, pasta, pizza, and calzones.

The address for this new restaurant in the Financial District is: Pavia Italian Cuisine and Catering, 82 Water Street, Boston, MA, 02109. The website can be found at: http://getpavia.com/
