Isabelle's Curly Cakes Opens in Boston's Beacon Hill

A new cupcake place has just opened in the Beacon Hill section of Boston, and the last name of the father and daughter behind the spot should be a very familiar one to most Bostonians.

According to The Boston Foodie, Isabelle's Curly Cakes opened yesterday on Charles Street, with the shop moving into the space where Ritz Camera used to be (between Pinckney Street and Mt. Vernon Street). The new cupcake spot is being run by Isabelle English and her father Todd English, a celebrity chef who is known for such restaurants as Olives, Figs, and KingFish Hall. Isabelle's Curly Cakes features a number of everyday and special cupcakes including red velvet, triple chocolate, vanilla bean, and chocolate peanut butter cup in the former category, and apple streusel and pumpkin pie spice currently in the latter category.

Hours for Isabelle's Curly Cakes are 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM to 9:30 PM Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sundays. The address is: Isabelle's Curly Cakes, 81 Charles Street, Boston, MA, 02114. The phone number is (617) 720-2260. And the website can be found at: http://www.izzyscurlycakes.com/
