Tantawan in Watertown Has Closed

It looks like a Thai restaurant in Watertown that has been in business for a number of years has closed its doors.

According to Yelp as well as a poster on Chowhound, Tantawan on Arsenal Street is no longer in business. A call placed to the restaurant seems to have confirmed this, as the number is not in service. Tantawan had been located in a spot that looked a bit like an old diner, with a long, narrow dining room a few feet above ground level. The restaurant featured a mix of traditional dishes and Thai-American fare, including such items as spring rolls, chicken and vegetable dumplings, pad Thai, basil fried rice, curry dishes, and pad see ew. Several years ago, our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) posted a brief blog review of Tantawan, which can be found below:

The address for this now-closed Thai restaurant in Watertown was: Tantawan, 356 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
