An event that celebrates the Armenian community in and around Boston returns to East Watertown in September, and as was the case last year, it will include a variety of authentic Armenian foods.

An email received from Image Unlimited Communications indicates that the 2nd annual Armenian Street Fair & Festival will be held from Friday, September 9 through Sunday, September 11 at The Armenian Cultural and Educational Center (ACEC) on Nichols Avenue (two blocks south of Mt. Auburn Street and two blocks west of Arlington Street). The event will include Armenian dishes from food vendors such as Arax Market, Eastern Lamejun, Fastachi, and Massis Bakery, with items including tabouleh, humus, stuffed grape leaves, kabobs, kheyma, lamejun, choreg, and baklava.

In addition to food, the Armenian Street Fair & Festival will also feature live music, children's activities, and more.

Admission to the event is free, with tickets required for entertainment performances. Hours are 7:00 PM to midnight on Friday, noon to midnight on Saturday, and noon to 7:00 PM on Sunday.
