Boston Restaurant Week (Summer 2011) Is Coming This Month

Boston Restaurant Week is getting ready to return to the area, with the summer 2011 version featuring a wide variety of dining spots in and around Boston.

According to BostonChefs.com, as well as Development Counsellors International and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism, Boston Restaurant Week (Summer 2011) will begin on Sunday, August 14 and end on Friday, August 26 (with a one-day break on Saturday, August 20, though some restaurants will be offering their Restaurant Week menus on that day as well). This year, prix fixe meals at participating restaurants will be $15.11 for a 2-course lunch, $20.11 for a 3-course lunch, and $33.11 for a 3-course dinner. And a new feature this year is the opportunity to earn up to 20% back when diners take a photo of the bill via the "repeat receipt" app. Approximately 200 restaurants in Boston, Cambridge, and suburbs both near and far will be taking part in the upcoming Boston Restaurant Week, with choices ranging from local neighborhood spots to national chains.
