Cooking for a Cause to Be Held in Boston March 30, 2012

A culinary event that helps support a Cambridge community center and social service agency is coming back to Boston once again, and as always, there will be food, drink, and entertainment offered.

The East End House website mentions that the 9th Annual Cooking for a Cause will be held on Friday, March 30 at the Seaport Hotel on the Boston waterfront, starting at 6:00 PM. Once again, the event will include food from local chefs and drinks from mixologists, along with craft beers, local wines, desserts, and coffee. A few of the chefs and mixologists who will be participating in the 2012 Cooking for a Cause include Jason Santos from Blue Inc., Andy Husbands from Tremont 647, Mary Dumont from Harvest, Nicole Lebedevitch from The Hawthorne, Dylan Black form Green Street, Kevin Martin from Eastern Standard, and many others. Music will be supplied by the Winiker Orchestra, and a live and silent auction will take place as well.

Tickets to the 2012 Cooking for a Cause event cost $125, with proceeds benefiting the East End House Community Center, which is a nonprofit, multi-service social service center that has been in existence since the 1800s.
