Sweetgreen to Open in Boston
A chain of "farm-to-table" fast food places that is based in Washington, DC, is on its way to Boston.
The Eater Boston site reports that Sweetgreen is going to be opening somewhere in or around the city. The article mentions that Craigslist recently had a job posting for the eatery, which focuses on salads and frozen yogurt, but neither a location nor and opening date were given for the place.
[October 29 update: An article in the Boston Magazine Chowder blog indicates that Sweetgreen will be opening at 659 Boylston Street in the Back Bay, taking over the former Ritz Camera space. It looks like the new spot could be opening sometime in the spring of 2013.]
Sweetgreen started out in Washington in 2007 and currently has several locations in DC, as well as a handful in Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania. The website for the chain can be found at http://www.sweetgreen.com/
