Gerard Farm in Framingham Is Opening Once Again

A popular lunch spot in Framingham that closed in late 2010 after being in business for 80 years is going to be opening back up.

The MetroWest Daily news is reporting that Gerard Farm on Water Street will soon open once again, as the place known for its turkey sandwiches has decided that the roadwork project in the area that caused it to close is now complete. It appears that few, if any changes will come to the spot, which features salads, home-style dinners, frozen pre-made meals, and ice cream in addition to its signature sandwiches.

Gerard Farm first opened back in 1931.

[June 18 update: A poster on the Chowhound site mentions that Gerard Farm is now open for business once again.]
