Hot Dog Safari to Be Held in Boston's Fenway Neighborhood, May 19, 2012

An event that features one of America's favorite foods is returning to the area this weekend, and it will be raising money for a good cause.

According to the event's website, the Phantom Gourmet Hot Dog Safari will be held on Lansdowne Street in the Fenway neighborhood of Boston on Saturday, May 19, starting at noon. The indoor and outdoor event will feature hot dogs from such restaurants and food purveyors as Windy City Eats, The Sausage Guy, Pearl Meats, and Kayem, with additional food being offered from Fuddruckers, Richardson's, Cabby Shack, and others. The Hot Dog Safari will also have parties, bowling, wine tastings, games, live music, and children's activities.

Tickets to the 2012 Hot Dog Safari cost $15 in advance, $20 at the event, with children 10 and under being free. The ticket price includes food and activities (beverages are extra), with proceeds benefiting the the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Joey Fund.
