Update: FoMu (Non-Dairy Ice Cream Shop) Is Opening in Allston

A new vegan ice cream shop is on its way to a busy neighborhood of  Boston.

Eater Boston is reporting that FoMu (which was supposed to have been called NoMu when the article was written) is opening on Cambridge Street in Allston (where Brighton Avenue and N Beacon Street meet), bringing to the area a place to get non-dairy ice cream made using a coconut base. The upcoming shop will also offer gourmet coffee and tea, along with local baked goods, according to Eater Boston.

[May 29 update: According to a commenter on this page (and confirmed via the Yelp site), FoMu will be opening tomorrow (Wednesday, May 30).]
