East Coast Grill's Summer of Hell Series Will Not Include Pasta from Hell

A popular event from a Cambridge restaurant that features extremely hot and spicy foods will not have its most well-known dish on the menu this time around, and the dish could be gone for good.

According to their website, the East Coast Grill on Cambridge Street in Inman Square will not be offering the Pasta from Hell during its sold-out "Hell Night" Summer of Hell Series that runs from June 11-13. A note on their site states that "due to circumstances beyond our control it has been retired." This last word (as well as the title of the note--"RIP Hell Pasta") implies that the Pasta from Hell might not be offered at future Hell Nights, either, though we have not yet confirmed this.

Hell Night first started out more than 20 years ago at the East Coast Grill, with well over 100 of the events hosted by the restaurant since it began. Included among the folks who have participated in Hell Night is Adam Richman, who is the host of the Travel Channel's Man v. Food.

The East Coast Grill is located at 1271 Cambridge Street in the heart of Inman Square. Their website can be found at http://eastcoastgrill.net/
