New Landing in Waltham Has Closed

A restaurant and bar located in the heart of Waltham's "restaurant row" has closed its doors.

According to their Facebook page, the New Landing on Moody Street shut down this week, with a note posted on Wednesday saying "Thank you for all the love." (It appears that their closing date may have been Wednesday.) The dining and drinking spot featured mostly pub grub and American fare, with their menu including such items as wings, quesadillas, pizzettes, sandwiches, burgers steak tips, BBQ ribs, fish and chips, chicken pot pie, macaroni and cheese, and American chop suey.

The address for this now-closed restaurant in Waltham was: New Landing, 313 Moody Street, Waltham, MA, 02453.

[August 3 update: The Boston Globe is reporting that The Waltham Islamic Society has bought the former New Landing space and plans to open a mosque at the site.]
