Upper Crust Pizzeria on Commonwealth Avenue in Boston Has Closed

A local chain of pizzerias that closed two of its North Shore locations earlier this year has just closed one of its Boston shops.

A phone call placed to the Upper Crust Pizzeria on Comm. Ave. (near Boston University) was rerouted to another location of the pizza shop on Harvard Street in Brookline, with a person at the Brookline outlet stating that the Comm. Ave. store has shuttered. A note on their Facebook page mentions that they "have moved our...staff and operations to our Coolidge Corner and Fenway pizzerias just down the street."

Upper Crust also closed its Beverly and Salem locations this past winter.

Existing Boston-area locations of the Upper Crust pizzeria remain open in Boston, Brookline, Cambridge, Hingham, Lexington, Waltham, Watertown, Wellesley, and West Roxbury.
