Tatte in Brookline and Cambridge Hooks Up with Williams-Sonoma

A Brookline baker who recently opened a second shop in Cambridge has apparently hit the big time, inking a deal with a high-end retail chain that has hundreds of locations across the United States.

Boston Magazine is reporting that Tzurit Or of Tatte Fine Cookies & Cakes is now collaborating with Williams-Sonoma to have the San Francisco-based chain sell 16 of the baker's food items. The article mentions that this will allow "millions of potential customers" to discover various treats from Tatte, including its nut and fruit tarts.

The retail shops of Tatte Fine Cookies & Cakes--Tatte Bakery and Cafe--can be found at Beacon Street near the Brookline/Boston border and Third Street in the Kendall Square section of Cambridge. Their website is at http://www.tattecookies.com/
