Potbelly Sandwich Shop Plans to Open Second Location in Downtown Boston
A Chicago-based chain of sub shops that has just started to expand into the local area is planning to open a second location in downtown Boston.
The Boston Hospitality and Tourism Industry Blog is reporting that Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a common victualler license to open at One Federal Street in the city's Financial District. If approved, the restaurant would join a nearby location on Washington Street in Downtown Crossing, as well as a shop at Logan Airport.
Potbelly features "originals," "bigs," and "skinnys" among its sandwiches, with meatball, ham, turkey, roast beef, chicken, and tuna being a few options available.
