Top Shelf in Framingham Has Closed

A casual upscale restaurant west of Boston has closed its doors after being in business for about a year and a half.

According to a poster on the Chowhound site, Top Shelf on Route 9 is now shuttered, with confirmation coming from the restaurant's Facebook page (which says they closed effective January 1). The Facebook note mentions that the dining spot could come back at some point, as they are looking for investors that might allow them to return, but for now, the eatery is no longer in operation.

Top Shelf first opened in the summer of 2011, featuring of Italian, classic American, and New American dishes.

The address for this now-closed restaurant was: Top Shelf, 250 Worcester Road (Route 9), Framingham, MA, 01701.
