Gerard Farm in Framingham Closes Once Again; Housing Subdivision Planned for Space

A landmark food spot in Framingham has closed again, and it looks like this time they won't be reopening.

The MetroWest Daily News is reporting that Gerard Farm on Water Street is set to go to auction, with a housing subdivision planned for the space. The business had closed in late 2010 after being open for 80 years, reopening again in June of 2012, but now it appears to be closing for good, with a father-and-son developer buying the property.

Gerard Farm, which first opened in 1931, featured sandwiches, ice cream, and pre-made meals, including turkey pot pies.

The address for this now-closed spot in Framingham was: Gerard Farm, 449 Water Street, Framingham, MA, 01701.
