Panera Bread Raising Money for The One Fund Boston Via In-Store Canisters

Ever since the attack on Marathon Monday, countless restaurants in the Boston area have been helping raise money for The One Fund Boston, and now a national chain of bakery-cafes is involved as well.

Over the next 30 days (starting yesterday), 32 Panera Bread shops in and around Boston will be collecting donations via in-store canisters in order to help families that were most affected by the explosions in the Back Bay last week, with the chain matching the total amount collected as well.

The One Fund Boston, which was set up by Mayor Thomas Menino and Governor Deval Patrick in the wake of the bombings, has raised more than $20 million to date.
