A Sweeter Life (A Dessert Fundraiser) Returns to Haley House Bakery Cafe in Roxbury, November 3, 2013

A dessert event is returning to a non-profit restaurant in Roxbury's Dudley Square this weekend, and once again, several area chefs will be participating.

According to the restaurant's website, A Sweeter Life: A Dessert Fundraiser is going to take place at the Haley House Bakery Cafe on Dade Street on Sunday, November 3 starting at 3:00 PM. Included will be dessert tastings from local chefs such as Joanne Chang (Flour Bakery), Maura Kilpatrick (Sofra), Kristina Lawson (Tatte), Amanda Masson (Davio's), Christina Mercado (Finale), Lee Napoli (Chocolee Chocolate and Bread + Butter), and the Haley House folks.

Tickets to A Sweeter Life cost $45 each ($100 for early admission at 2:00 PM, which includes a pre-reception with the chefs), with proceeds helping support Haley House's Transitional Employment Program. For more information, please go to the link below:
