Highlights for the Week Ending October 18, 2013

A few more stories and articles centering on the Boston-area restaurant scene came out over the past week, including a Davis Square eatery closing, a local restaurateur planning to open a new restaurant in the North End space where a longtime spot just closed, and a local group of ice cream cafes opening yet another spot. In addition, our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) included a pasta slideshow for National Pasta Day, a list of restaurant closings and openings for October (so far), and a photo of a cookie from a 24-hour bakery in the North End of Boston.
