Highlights for the Week Ending October 18, 2013

A few more stories and articles centering on the Boston-area restaurant scene came out over the past week, including a Davis Square eatery closing, a local restaurateur planning to open a new restaurant in the North End space where a longtime spot just closed, and a local group of ice cream cafes opening yet another spot.
