Uno Chicago Grill Closes in Newton Corner

Another location of a restaurant chain that features Chicago deep-dish pizza has closed its doors.

According to one of our readers (and confirmed by the Newton Patch), Uno Chicago Grill in Newton Corner is no longer in business, having shuttered around the end of September. The Washington Street eatery, which first opened more than 20 years ago, is one of several locations of the chain to close in Massachusetts over the past few years, including outlets in Cambridge's Porter Square, Fairhaven, Kingston, and Methuen that all shut down. A number of locations remain open in the immediate area, including in Boston, Braintree, Burlington, Cambridge, Dedham, Framingham, Revere, Swampscott, Waltham, and Woburn. (There is also a location of a fast-casual pizza spot called Uno Due Go in downtown Boston.)

The address for this now-closed restaurant in Newton Corner was: Uno Chicago Grill, 287 Washington Street, Newton, MA, 02458. The website for the chain can be found at http://www.unos.com/
