Buffalo Wild Wings to Open in Braintree

A chain of restaurants and sports bars that focuses on chicken wings is going to be opening another Boston-area location, with this one being south of the city.

The Braintree Patch is reporting that Buffalo Wild Wings (also known as BW3) is looking to open at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree, with the place planning to open sometime in early 2014. This will be the second branch to open south of Boston (one opened in Brockton in May of this year) and the fourth in the Boston area, joining other existing locations in Danvers and Saugus. Expect to see chicken wings and boneless tenders as well as sandwiches, flatbreads, and more at the new BW3.

[September 25, 2014 update: Buffalo Wild Wings has not yet opened in Braintree, but it appears to be close, as a Craigslist job posting just went up stating that BW3 is now hiring all positions for the restaurant.]

Buffalo Wild Wings opened its first shop in 1982 in Ohio and now has approximately 900 locations across the United States. Its website can be found at http://www.buffalowildwings.com/
