Highlights for the Week Ending December 27, 2013

A few more stories and articles centering on the Boston-area restaurant scene came out over the past week, including an Irish pub coming to Harvard Square, a Chinese restaurant closing near Fenway Park, and a local group of beer shops looking to expand to other parts of the country. In addition, our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) included an updated review of a Vietnamese restaurant south of Boston, a photo of a breakfast dish from a cafe in Dorchester, and an article on favorite dining spots and dishes of 2013 from restaurant and media folk.

Hi Marc!

I'm considering moving to Boston, and I'm hoping you might have some insight into the restaurant/hospitality scene for me. I'm trying to figure out who the culinary career heavy-hitters are - the restaurant groups, PR firms, marketing agencies, etc. that really cater to the Boston food scene. Any tips on where to look?

Hi, Haley! Many of them are on Facebook and Twitter, so it might be worth doing searches on those sites. And I'd also do a Google search of PR firms and agencies to find some of the big ones. They'll definitely come up in a keyword search. Best of luck!
