Highlights for the Week Ending November 29, 2013

A few more stories and articles centering on the Boston-area restaurant scene came out over the past week, including a Middle Eastern eatery opening in the South End, the group behind a local chain of upscale restaurants starting a new concept, and a decades-old drinking spot near Fenway Park closing. In addition, our sister site (Boston's Hidden Restaurants) included an updated review of an Italian restaurant in Winthrop, a blog post on quiet restaurants near malls and shopping centers, and a photo of a pizza from a soon-to-close landmark eatery south of the city.
