Fresh Food Generation Food Truck Is Coming to Boston

Another food truck is on its way to Boston, and this one will focus on bringing healthy and affordable meals to folks in low-income sections of the city.

Eater Boston is reporting that Fresh Food Generation is going to be hitting the road soon; once it does, it will tend to go to neighborhoods such as Dorchester, Mattapan, and Roxbury, offering reasonably-priced food items such as salads and rice bowls with African, Caribbean, and Latin American influences, and using locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients. It is not known exactly when the truck will be officially on the streets of Boston, but the company behind it is involved in the catering of events, including at The Dorchester Community Co-Op's Fresh Fridays, which takes place at the Mather Elementary School on Parish Street between the Savin Hill and Fields Corner sections of Dorchester.
