Yoki in Cambridge's Central Square Has Closed

A Japanese restaurant in Cambridge has closed its doors after being in business for about 2 1/2 years.

Eater Boston is reporting that Yoki in the city's Central Square neighborhood is shuttered, with one of its readers saying that the furniture inside the Mass. Ave. space is gone. According to the article, an employee at the original location of the eatery in Medford's Station Landing says that it appears the Cambridge spot's closure is permanent, though this has not been completely confirmed as of yet.

Yoki took over the space where Floating Rock had been in the summer of 2012 (Floating Rock had moved from its original location in Revere), offering such items as sushi, tempura, teriyaki, noodle dishes, and more.

The address for this now-closed Japanese restaurant in Central Square was: Yoki, 485 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA, 02139. The website for the Medford location can be found at http://yokirestaurant.com/
