Buffalo Wild Wings Is Opening in Burlington

A Minnesota-based chain of restaurants and sports bars that features wings is expanding further into the local region, this time opening a new location in what has become one of the Boston area's hottest suburbs for dining.

According to an article in The Burlington Union, Buffalo Wild Wings--which is also called BW3--is planning to open on South Avenue by Chili's and the AMC Theatre (across the street from The Burlington Mall). The post says that the new spot, which had originally been approved by the town in January of 2014 but has since had changes made to the plans, will have seating for 294 people along with parking for 144 cars. Once it opens, the new Buffalo Wild Wings will join others in Braintree, Brockton, Danvers, and Saugus, along with more than 1,000 other locations across the United States.

If all goes as planned, BW3 could be opening in Burlington by the end of the year.

[March 24, 2014 update: According to a tipster (and confirmed by the restaurant's Facebook page), the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Burlington is now open.]

The address for this new restaurant and bar in Burlington is: Buffalo Wild Wings, 15 South Avenue, Burlington, MA, 018031. The website for the chain can be found at
