The Middle Gray Is Opening in Brookline Village

A new spot is coming to Brookline Village, and it will offer food, drink, and much more.

Eater Boston is reporting (via The Brookline TAB) that The Middle Gray is planning to open by the corner of Station Street and Washington Street, taking over the space where the now-closed Olea Cafe and a yarn shop used to be. The articles says that the upcoming place will apparently be a mix of a coffee shop, cafe, art gallery, wine bar, and performance space, with owners Catalina Piedrahita and Alvaro Morales looking to have it be more of a cafe at breakfast and lunch and more of a wine bar at dinner. The food at The Middle Gray will have South American influences, with Colombian arepas being one item offered, according to the TAB.

If all goes as planned, The Middle Gray could be opening sometime in July.

[August 7 update: UrbanDaddy states that The Middle Gray hopes to open its doors this weekend.]

[August 10 update: According to its Facebook page, The Middle Gray has indeed opened for business.]

The address for this new spot in Brookline Village is: The Middle Gray, 6 Station Street, Brookline, MA, 02445.
