Dudley Cafe Opens in Roxbury

A brand new dining spot has opened in a section of Boston that appears poised for growth.

According to a Facebook post from Solmon Chowdhury of Shanti in Dorchester and Roslindale and Moksa/Naga in Cambridge, the restaurateur and his wife Rokeya have opened Dudley Cafe within the Bolling Building in Roxbury's Dudley Square, with an article from Eater Boston stating that the place offers a variety of breakfast items in the morning, salads and sandwiches at lunchtime, and beer and wine until closing time (7:00 PM on weekdays, 5:00 PM on weekends).

The renovated Bolling Building, which dates back to the 1880s, will soon be home to a couple of other eateries, including Dudley Dough--a pizza place from the Haley House folks that should be opening in less than a month--and a new location of Tasty Burger, which hasn't set an opening date yet.

The address for this new dining spot in Roxbury is: Dudley Cafe, 15 Warren Street, Roxbury, MA, 02119. Its website can be found at http://www.dudleycafe.com/
