Casa Vallarta Is Opening on Route 1 in Saugus

A pair of Mexican restaurants west and south of Boston will be opening a third location on an infamous stretch of road north of the city.

A message from @CappyinBoston indicates that Casa Vallarta is going to open on Route 1 in Saugus, moving into a space just north of the Route 129/Walnut Street intersection near where Jimmy's Steer House and IHOP are located. Once it opens, the new eatery will join existing locations in Northborough and Falmouth, and based on the menus at those restaurants, some of the items offered could be taco salads, enchiladas, quesadillas, chile rellens, tostadas, burritos, ceviche, red snapper, skirt steak, and marinated lamb shank.

No opening date has been given as of yet for the new location of Casa Vallarta.

The address for this Mexican restaurant in Saugus is: Casa Vallarta, 114 Broadway (Route 1), Saugus, MA, 01906. the website for all three locations can be found at http://casavallarta.org/

[December 28 update: The Saugus Advertiser states that the town has given Casa Vallarta the green light to open on Route 1, and that the owners want to open the place "as soon as possible." (The article also says that it will be taking over the space where Pearl Street Cafe had been.)]

[February 28, 2017 update: Casa Vallarta is now open in Saugus.]
