Cucina D in Bedford Has Closed

An Italian restaurant in the northwest suburbs of Boston has closed down after being in business for a bit more than a year.

An email sent yesterday indicates that Cucina D in Bedford is no longer in business, with a Facebook post from the place confirming this, saying that "It is with bittersweet emotions that we tell you Cucina D will not be reopening its doors. As much as we loved serving amazing food to Bedford and the surrounding communities it was our time to move on." This is the second dining spot owned by the DiCenso family to close recently, as Donatello on Route 1 in Saugus shut its doors around the end of September; their other restaurant--Luna Rossa in Tewksbury--remains in operation.

Cucina D, which opened in the fall of 2014, offered such items as panini, pizza, pasta, risotto, and chicken, veal, and eggplant dishes.

The address for this now-closed restaurant in Bedford was: Cucina D, 54 Middlesex Turnpike, Bedford, MA, 01730.
