Eater Boston is reporting that Panelli's Pizza and Parm in Brookline is no longer in operation, with owner David Iknaian confirming this shortly after EB posted the article. The Harvard Street dining spot, which first opened its doors in late November of 2014, was known in part for its huge New York-style slices that garnered much praise; The Boston Globe said that the pizza at Panelli's was "thin-crust perfection," while Yelp reviewers gave the place 4 1/2 stars based on more than 50 reviews.
The space where Panelli's resided had previously been home to Ozzie's Pizza & Cafe.
The address for the now-closed Panelli's Pizza and Parm was 415 Harvard Street, Brookline, MA, 02446.
