Pronti Bistro in Needham to Close; May Reopen in New, Smaller Space

A restaurant in the western suburbs of Boston that features a fusion of Indian and American fare is getting ready to shut its doors--though it is looking to return at some point in a brand new space.

According to a Twitter post from @brandnewwatch, Pronti Bistro in Needham plans to close down tomorrow and is looking to reopen in a smaller space, with the people behind it apparently looking both nearby and in Cambridge. A message from @brandnewwatch indicates that they have not decided on exactly where they will be heading, so keep checking back for updates as we get them.

Pronti Bistro first opened in April of 2011, offering such items as paratha filled with steak, chicken, steak, cottage cheese, and eggplant, bhurji (an Indian-style egg wrap), brownies, vanilla smoothies, and mango lassi.

The address for the soon-to-close Pronti Bistro is 11 Second Avenue, Needham, MA, 02494.
