Sheryl Julian Leaving Job as Food Editor of the Boston Globe; Devra First to Replace Her

A changing of the guard is taking place within the food section of one of Boston's major newspapers.

According to a Twitter post from food writer @Peggy_Hernandez, Sheryl Julian is leaving her job as food editor of The Boston Globe, and Globe food critic Devra First will be taking over the food editor position for the newspaper. No other details have been given at this point in time, so check back for updates.

In addition to her job as food editor of the Globe, Sheryl Julian has also written and edited several food-based books, including "The Way We Cook" and "The New Boston Globe Cookbook." (She also trained at the Cordon Bleu schools in Paris and London.)
