Kane's Donuts Is Opening within The Pop-Up at The Street in Chestnut Hill

A nationally-recognized donut shop with two locations in the Boston area is popping up (literally) in a new space.

According to a press release, Kane's Donuts is setting up shop at The Pop-Up at The Street in Chestnut Hill (next to Star Market) starting tomorrow, where it will remain through March 26. The temporary donut shop replaces floral company Alice's Table, and before that, knitwear line The Third Piece and OMG! Bagels. The release says that the Kane's pop-up will be open daily from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Kane's first started out in Saugus in the 1950s, opening a second shop in Boston's Financial District last March; the company is known in part for its honey glaze donut (which Travel & Leisure once included in its list of America's best donuts) and its cinnamon coffee rolls.

The Street can be found on Boylston Street (Route 9) in Chestnut Hill on the Newton/Brookline border.
