Building Housing the Now-Closed Littlest Bar and Times in Downtown Boston Being Demolished

Last year, we reported that a couple of bars in downtown Boston were being forced out in order to make way for new development. Now we have learned that their old home is in the process of disappearing forever.

According to a Twitter post from @ConciergeBoston, the building on Broad Street that once housed The Littlest Bar and The Times is in the process of being demolished, with a picture showing that much of it was torn down as of yesterday. It appears that a luxury condo development will be built in its place, based on a number of earlier reports--including one from TCC Realty Group.

The people behind The Times have since moved on to open a new spot on Broad Street called Broadside (in the former Barney Fanning's space), And while there had been chatter that The Littlest Bar might reopen in a new space, it now looks like that might not be happening after all.
