Mint Indian Eatery Opens at Somerville's Powderhouse Square

A brand new street food spot has come to Somerville, moving into the space where a few restaurants have been over the past several years.

According to a source, Mint Indian Eatery has opened in the Powderhouse Square area, taking over the space on Broadway where Teriyaki House had been, and before that, DooWee and Rice and East Asia. The menu at the new eatery shows a mix of Indian and Nepalese fare, including such street food items as mo:mo: (Nepalese dumplings), kati rolls, keema bara (lentil pizza), samosas, and more.

It appears that Mint Indian Eatery opened its doors sometime this week.

The address for this new restaurant in Somerville is: Mint Indian Eatery, 868 Broadway, Somerville, MA, 02144. Its website can be found at http://www.minteatery.com/
