Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar Is Opening in Quincy

A new Italian restaurant is coming to an increasingly hot downtown area south of Boston, and the team behind an adjacent steakhouse will be opening the place.

Eater Boston is reporting that the people behind Alba in Quincy will be opening Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar next door (where Siam House used to be), with the Hancock Street dining spot having Venetian influences, including cicchetti, or small side dishes, along with pasta, salumi, a raw bar, and cocktails. No opening date for the restaurant has been given as of yet, but Zef is hoping to open sometime in October, according to EB.

Alba is an upscale restaurant that is known in part for its roof deck and extensive wine list.

The address for this new Italian restaurant in downtown Quincy is: Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar, 1472 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA, 02169.

[December 28 update: A post from @footballfacts on the Quincy Is Everything Facebook group page states that Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar plans to have a soft opening on New Year's Eve, with drinks only (the kitchen won't be open that night).]

[January 11, 2017 update: A new post from Eater Boston states that Zef Cicchetti & Raw Bar is now fully open.]
