Num Pang Is Opening within the Prudential Center in Boston's Back Bay

A group of New York-based Cambodian sandwich shops will be expanding to Boston, opening a store within a busy shopping area in the Back Bay.

Eater Boston is reporting that Num Pang is planning to open in the Prudential Center, joining eight other locations in Manhattan. Based on the offerings at the existing shops, the new location in Boston could include soups, salads, rice bowls, and such sandwich options as catfish, meatballs, roasted cauliflower, brisket, pork belly, skirt steak, roasted chicken, tofu, and more, though EB says that the Boston shop may be a bit different from the other stores. If all goes as planned, Num Pang could be opening at the Pru late this fall.

Num Pang was established in 2009 by college friends Ben Daitz and Ratha Chaupoly, who went to Clark University in Worcester.
