The Patriot Tavern in Walpole Has Reopened

A former dive bar in an historic building is open once again, and it now features more than just beer and liquor.

The Walpole Times is reporting that the Patriot Tavern on Route 1A is back in operation under new ownership, and that the upgraded place now has a kitchen. A few items offered at the watering hole include pizza, turkey dinner, meatloaf, steak tips, reubens, pulled pork sliders, and more.

The Patriot Tavern, which was purchased last December, resides in a structure that is approximately a century old, according to an older Patch article.

The address for the reopened Patriot Tavern is 100 Main Street (Route 1A), Walpole, MA, 02081. Its website can be found at http://www.patriottavern.net/
