The Kitchen Cafe Is Opening in Boston's Leather District

It looks like a new restaurant may be on its way to the outer edge of downtown Boston.

According to a licensing board page within the city of Boston website, a place tentatively called The Kitchen: Farm to Table Cafe is looking to open on South Street in the Leather District, with the exact address indicating that it may be moving into the space where Trattoria Andiamo currently resides. Very little is known about the proposed eatery at this point in time other than the fact that the parent company is JDT Investments, LLC, the manager listed is Jayme Valdez, and its proposed hours would be 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

As soon as we find out more about The Kitchen, we will post an update here.

The address for this new dining spot in the Leather District of Boston is 104 South Street, Boston, MA, 02111.

[July 31 update: According to a reader, The Kitchen is now open, with its full name being The Kitchen Cafe rather than The Kitchen: Farm to Table Cafe. We are told that the place focuses on sandwiches, though it is also open for breakfast as well.]
