Blaze Pizza Is Opening in Burlington

A group of California-based pizza restaurants that has some big names involved is opening its fourth location in the Greater Boston area.

The Daily Times Chronicle is reporting that Blaze Pizza is planning to open in the Vinebrook Plaza in Burlington, with the town planning board recently approving of a special permit for the place. The article says that the upcoming dining spot will have seating for 88 inside, seating for 22 more outside, and a bit more than 4,000 square feet of space. Once it opens, the new location of Blaze will join others at CityPlace within the State Transportation Building in Boston's Theatre District, Boylston Street in the Fenway, and One Canal Park near the CambridgeSide Galleria in East Cambridge. If all goes as planned, the restaurant could be open sometime this spring.

A few investors who have been involved with Blaze Pizza include Red Sox chairman Tom Werner, author/journalist Maria Shriver, and Cleveland Cavaliers basketball star LeBron James.

The address for this new location of Blaze is 91 Middlesex Turnpike, Burlington, MA, 01803. The website for Blaze can be found at http://www.blazepizza.com/
