Temazcal, Tony's Coal Fire Pizza to Open in Former Papa Razzi Space in Burlington

A pair of dining spots will be moving into a space north of Boston where a location of a group of Italian restaurants had been.

The Daily Times Chronicle is reporting that Temazcal Tequila Cantina and Tony's Coal Fire Pizza have been given approval by the Burlington Board of Selectmen to open in the former Papa Razzi Metro space on Wall Street. The article says that the two eateries will be run by Rebel Restaurants, Inc., which is an affiliate of The Cronin Group. (A few spots run by The Cronin Group include Tony C's, Atlantic Beer Garden, The Boston Beer Garden, and The Whiskey Priest, along with other locations of Temazcal in Boston's Seaport District and Lynnfield.)

Papa Razzi Metro, which closed this past October, was a new concept from Papa Razzi that focused on scratch-made New England dishes along with Italian items, including small shareable plates and larger entrees.

The address for the former Papa Razzi space is 2 Wall Street, Burlington, MA, 01803. (It is not yet known whether the two new restaurants will share this address or whether they will have two different addresses.)

[June 14 update: A tweet mentions that the new Temazcal Tequila Cantina soft-opened over the weekend, while a Facebook post from the place indicates that it appears to be fully open for dinner now.]
