Democracy Brewing to Open in Boston's Downtown Crossing

It looks like a brewery and brewhouse is on its way to the heart of downtown Boston.

According to an article in BostInno, Democracy Brewing is planning to open in Downtown Crossing, with the space including a brewhouse with communal seating and a full kitchen, an Irish "snug" for small groups, and a private event space. The post mentions that the food menu may focus on shareable plates while beers will include a golden ale, an Irish stout, an IPA, a pale ale, a house saison, and seasonal IPA options, and cask and barrel aging will be done in-house as well.

[June 8 update: BostInno confirms what we had heard back in April (but couldn't report at the time), that Democracy Brewing is moving into the old Windsor Button building on Temple Place.]

[January 28, 2018 update: A job post within the Craigslist site indicates that Democracy Brewing will include a 150-seat brewpub.]

[June 21, 2018 update: The Boston Herald mentions that Democracy Brewing will open on July 4. (Thanks to @CappyinBoston for bringing this to our attention.)]
