Dockside Restaurant at Riverview in Malden Has Closed

A small local group of restaurants featuring classic American fare has gotten a bit smaller.

According to a message from musician and radio host/consultant Michael Scott Stewart, Dockside Restaurant at Riverview in Malden has shut down, leaving three locations remaining (a second outlet in Malden along with restaurants in Wakefield and Chelsea). No reason has been given for its closure, and it is not known what might go into the Medford Street space; as soon as we find out more, we will post an update here.

Dockside Restaurant at Riverview first opened in 2011, taking over the space where Agave Mexican Grille and Tequila Bar had been. Like the other Dockside locations, the now-closed Malden spot focused on comfort food and traditional American dishes, with soups, salads, sandwiches, wings, burgers, macaroni and cheese, and steak tips being a few options on the menu.

The address for this shuttered dining and drinking spot in Malden was: Dockside Restaurant at Riverview, 270 Medford Street, Malden, MA, 02148. The website for all of the Dockside Restaurants can be found at: http://www.docksiderestaurants.com/
